A beautifully simple wooden bowl from Japan, with a shallow profile and softly curved sides. Turned from a single piece of timber, each bowl has a fine rounded rim, a subtly recessed base and a smooth finish that allows the natural grain to remain the focus. Its restrained form is useful, tactile and easy to live with. Use it for serving fruit, bread or dry snacks, or as a catch-all for jewellery and other small essentials. Beautiful left empty, too.
Please note that the grain and colouring vary naturally between bowls, making each one slightly different.
