A broad, cylindrical matcha bowl finished in a thick white Shino-style glaze that breaks to reveal flashes of the iron-rich clay beneath. Pinholing, crawling and subtle variations from the firing create a richly textured surface, while the softly irregular rim and generous proportions make it particularly satisfying to hold during tea preparation. Comes with original wooden box.
