KASAGI : wool socks

$128.00

These spectacularly soft, thick socks come from a very special grazing area in the Sanbe Mountain area of Japan. Kasagi farm is a place where the tiny flock of lucky sheep are known by name, and treated with great care to yield a very high quality wool (these particular socks come from a sheep called Non-non!)

Each sock is created with a three-dimensional knitting technique (so they're human-shaped, with no tightness at the calf), and a comfortable, seam-free toe. An exceptionally thick and dense footbed is made from 4 layers of wool, which makes these as warm and comfortable as a pair of socks can be!

A truly special gift, each pair is intended to be treasured and enjoyed for a long time.

82% wool, 15% nylon, 2% silk, 1% polyurethane

care : hand wash gently in lukewarm water, using a wool detergent, lay flat to dry

approximately 23.5cm - 27.5cm

made in Japan

Kasagi is a small family-run farm and wool specialty company founded in 2020 by Mai and Masato Kasagi.

There they raise and care for a small flock, using regenerative farming methods and an approach that values the health and comfort of each individual sheep. Starting with four ewes, the farm now has 24 very lucky sheep, all known by name!

The fleeces are carefully shorn and washed by hand by the Kasagis, who collaborate with skilled Japanese craftspeople to produce knits of exceptional quality.
