Round shigaraki ware vase, partially covered with a celadon glaze, with the mark of the Kaneyama pottery, known for their unglazed pottery. The stunningly tactile surface of this piece is caused by the presence of feldspar, a naturally occurring mineral, in the local clays. 

A piece with enough character make a statement on its own, or pop in some greenery for a softer look.
