Traditional Japanese hard candy p resented in Eitaro’s distinctive tin. A charming small gift and a particularly good travelling companion.
Umeboshi Ame — red tin: A traditional hard sugar candy with a clean sweetness and rich, caramelised-sugar flavour. Despite the name, it contains no plum and is neither sour nor salty. The red and golden pieces taste the same.
Kuro Ame — black tin: Made with Okinawan brown sugar and a touch of cinnamon, giving these candies a deeper, molasses-like sweetness with a gently warming spice.
Matcha Ame — green tin: Made with Japanese matcha for an earthy green-tea flavour balanced by the candy’s sweetness. Its natural colour and flavour come from the matcha, with no added colourings or flavourings.
