Tokoname Ware : ceramic vase

A tall, tapered vase with a rustic textured finish.  These hand formed pieces are ideal for a single stem or as a lively vertical accent in a collection of small ceramics.

The city of Tokoname is synonymous with Japanese ceramics and has a pottery tradition reaching back more than one thousand years. Many of Tokoname's potters have been named Living National Treasures by the Japanese government.
