Tokoname Ware : ceramic vase

A narrow, hand-formed ceramic vase with a glossy, crackle glaze. 

The city of Tokoname is synonymous with Japanese ceramics and has a pottery tradition reaching back more than one thousand years. Many of Tokoname's potters have been named Living National Treasures by the Japanese government.
