Soulive was founded in 2013 to give exciting new form to the extraordinary fabrics of the Collect Co fabric mill in Kojima, Okayama - Japan's denim capital. Inspired by the country's work wear heritage and the prefecture's culture of indigo dyeing,  Soulive garments embody simplicity of form, quality and longevity of fabrication, using traditional hand stitching and authentic dyeing techniques.

The Soulive line is recognised for its experimental yet incredibly wearable jackets, which invite interpretation in a multitude of styles, from understated, pared-back simplicity to a layered and maximalist celebration of textured textile and playful volume.

With a rigid indigo-dyed denim shell promising years and years of worn-in wear,  the Harvest jacket is meticulously constructed, and lined with warm wool blend fabric for structure and protection from the elements. Subtle shaping through the shoulders  gives beautiful shrug-on comfort and a silhouette which speaks of very clever tailoring. The contrast stand collar band, simple and button free, gives a clean line with echoes of kimono design, likewise the split cuff is a neat detail of tailoring without bulk.
