neil hoffmann : pasta bowl
$58.00
Neil Hoffmann
From his studio in Reedy Marsh, Tasmania, ceramicist Neil Hoffmann creates densely textural pieces which bring organic form and function to the table. In a practice spanning three decades, Neil has developed an intimate relationship to the land where he works, incorporating clays from the immediate local environment as well as porcelain and other ceramics, using both wood burning and gas-fired kilns. The maker is privileged to share this uniquely organic tableware.
A shallow bowl (or deep plate) makes a perfect picture of your main course or could serve a dish of sides at a shared table. The handsomely speckled surface of these bowls adds detail unique to each one, making a welcome addition to the collection of your clay-crazy loved ones.
Every pasta bowl is hand thrown, so while each is similar to its siblings, the piece you receive will not necessarily be the one in the photograph.
Handwashing is best for these ceramics, and please avoid the microwave.
