LJ struthers : sheer plaid satellite smock
Our satellite smock, a smaller version of our lunar smock, is a daily layering favourite with a banded boat neck, wide cuffs and relaxed, straight-sided volume. On cold days, loose short sleeves are perfect for showing off a contrasting merino top, oxford shirt or arm warmers, while the lunar smock also works hard as a heavier weight tee. A crescent yoke with subtle centre gather creates a full, swing-style profile at the reverse, pairing perfectly with the LJ struthers archer, cambridge or curator pants.
colour : chalk, heron and lapis
fabric : crinkle cotton
weave : sheer plaid
length : 62cm
neck to cuff : 46cm
chest : 138cm
hip : 160cm
LJ struthers
LJ struthers clothing is informed by insistence on comfort, commitment to craftsmanship, and the joy of self-expression we can all experience through dress. Life and work in different regions of Japan inspired Leonie to translate some of the traditional principles of Japanese design for an Australian context. Timeless, sculptural silhouettes are ideal for layering, while disciplined lines and simple shapes invites creative collaboration with the wearer. Textiles of extraordinary quality are at the heart of the label, and every style is cut and constructed in Hobart with due care, creating garments to enjoy for years to come.
