Designs from hac (the Hiketa Artisan Community) are proudly made by the skilled craftspeople of Kagawa prefecture, an area renowned for its glove-making history. Every glove is meticulously constructed from start to finish by the same maker, using fine, pure merino wool, and the result is a smooth, elegant alternative to a knitted glove. Finished with unique hand-embroidery on each cuff, and wonderfully presented in a gift box, hac gloves are made to warm your heart as well as your hands.

Higashikagawa City has a tradition of glove manufacturing that reaches back more than 130 years— founded in 1939, hac (Hiketa Artisan Community) embrace and honour the techniques and sensibilities that have long been vital to the region. Employing local artisans, each of their products is individually sewn by a single person and delivered directly from the workshop with pride.
