The Daiyo candle company was established in Japan over 100 years ago, specialising in production of the highest quality candles. The use of traditional manufacturing techniques and ingredients have  been fostered and maintained at the company for four generations. Daiyo candles are used for Cha-no-yu rituals, a Japanese traditional practice for serving and drinking tea, as well as Buddhist altars and temples.
