From the beautiful ancient capital Nara, Ban Inoue make breathable garments and accessories in simple styles, allowing the soft texture and comfort of their natural textiles to take focus. Complimenting their traditionally woven caya cotton range, Ban Inoue also produce a pure linen weave of exceptional quality, movement and drape.
This unstructured smock has simple cropped sleeves and minimal seams, slipping on over the head with a single, mother-of-pearl button closure. Made from a beautifully breathable linen yarn (karamiori means ‘tangle weave’) the understated cut allows the fabric to shine – soft but strong, this piece will grow in suppleness and gentle lustre with each wear.
