ban inoue : kuzu bag in chalk


Kuzu (or kudzu) vine is native to Japan and its long bast fibres have been traditionally processed and used to make lustrous twine and textiles for hundreds of years. This sweet little bag is constructed from linen oilcloth, lined in contrasting cotton (with one internal pocket), and features a stitched layer of kuzu netting over the outer, creating a beautiful design detail. A drawstring top with wrapped cotton cords makes the bag adjustable.

care instructions : Wipe the outer of your bag clean with a damp cloth. Invert lining and hang in shade to air out as need. Do not machine wash, tumble dry or dry clean.
